Piešťany
Kúpeľné mesto s viac ako 31 tisíc obyvateľmi je známe už od 12. storočia termálnymi liečivými prameňmi, od 19. storočia je mestom svetoznámych kúpeľov. Súčasť jeho okolia dotvára chránený prírodný areál vodných športov Sĺňava. Dôležitým dopravným uzlom je letisko. Prvá písomná správa o osade Piešťany pochádza z roku 1113. Dominujúci je moderný kúpeľný areál, ale aj staré kúpele - Napoleonské kúpele, z prvej tretiny 19. stor., Kursalón z roku 1894, kúpeľné secesné budovy Thermia Palace a Irma z rokov 1910 – 1912.
